Chapters represent the grassroots of HIMSS!

There is significant work going on in healthcare IT, especially at the local level. Chapter membership brings the benefits home with targeted education, issue updates, networking opportunities, and more. HIMSS represents 49 chapters across the United States, Canada, and India that serve a valuable role in bringing healthcare system professionals together in a local forum.

Belong to a HIMSS Chapter

Every member receives the benefit of also being the member of 1 chapter. If you do not specify a chapter on your membership application, you will be added to the chapter in your zip code. If you would like to change to a different chapter, simply e-mail us as membership@himss.org or login to the HIMSS member center and scroll down and click "Manage Chapter." This will allow you to update your chapter. This enhancement will also allow members to add additional chapters to their membership via the web site.
