Committee, Task Force, and Work Group participation is open to all individual members of HIMSS who are not serving in other leadership capacities within the Society and have been a member in good-standing for the past twelve consecutive months. Committee members are recruited annually through an application process, and selected by the Chair-Elect of the HIMSS Board of Directors. There is no application or selection process for Task Forces or Work Groups - any current HIMSS member is welcome to join these groups at any time.
