Changing pO2licy: The Elements for Improving Childhood Asthma Outcomes
The result of a year-long investigation, a new report, entitled Changing pO2licy: The Elements for Improving Childhood Asthma Outcomes, from The George Washington University, School of Public Health and Health Services supported by the RCHN Community Health Foundation and the Merck Childhood Asthma Network, Inc. finds that more than 1 million children with asthma remain uninsured and at risk for inadequate care. Karen Redlener, New York Children's Health Network, 2008 Davies CHO Recipient, was an advisor to the project and participated in a panel discussion of the recently released study on March 4th.

The Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) was one of the first community health centers in the United States to fully transition to an electronic health record (EHR) system from paper-based charts. Since implementation, CBHA has consistently ranked above the 95th percentile nationally in total medical and dental team productivity, as reported in the Bureau of Primary Health Care Uniform Data System.
